I graduated with an HND in Graphic Design from Loughborough University of Art and Design in 1998. Since then I have worked in various areas of the marketing, design, print, and digital industries. I have always loved being creative and doodle all the time, but my passion is making digital illustrations. Below are a few examples of moving cards, wedding invitations, and family illustrations that I have designed.

Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, Swadlincote

Illustration

I was commissioned to create a unique illustration for Sharpe’s Pottery Museum so they could produce merchandise such as; mugs, tea towels, thank you cards, and jigsaws.

These items are now available to buy in their gift shop and help create a museum with a bright and sustainable future.

Julie & Buttons

Moving card Illustration

Julie came to me wanting a moving card with an illustration of her new cottage but also featuring her beloved Chocolate Labrador, Buttons.

I sourced an image of her new home on google maps and then recreated it in my style using Adobe Illustrator.

My Personal Space Ltd

Illustration

The owners of My Personal Space Ltd wanted an illustration of their newly opened business in Derby city centre. After visiting the shop and getting to know the owners I created this unique illustration for them to commemorate the opening of the business.

Debbie & Richard

Wedding Invitation Illustration and Design

Debbie & Richard came to me for a bespoke wedding stationery design.

They supplied me with images of the venue (Salcombe Yacht Club), itinerary, and a preferable colour palette, and asked me to make an illustration featuring the venue with a few personal touches.

I had the stationery printed on pearlescent card, the design and colours looked wonderful. Both bride and groom were thrilled with the finished items.

Karen & Family

Moving Card Illustration

Karen and her family asked me to design a moving card for them.

Their property had been designed by a local architect who supplied me with the original plans from the build. From the plan drawings, I created an illustration of their beautiful new home and garden, featuring the family’s two dogs.
